Forensic Radiology
- Dr. Levey is licenced, fellowship-trained and qualified to evaluate all types of imaging studies including Brain Imaging, Spinal Imaging, Body Imaging, Ultrasound (Sonography), Mammographic Imaging and Nuclear Imaging studies (PET, SPECT, CereScan, Bone scans and more)
- Dr Levey is a Board Certified Radiologist who evaluates specialized Diagnostic Imaging studies, as well as reviewing all types of radiology testing of all categories in the field of diagnostic radiology for Attorneys
- Dr. Levey is a Fellowship-Trained subspecialist radiologist. Areas of sub-specialization and practice concentration include: Neurospinal Imaging and Orthopedic Radiology
- Dr. Levey specializes in evaluating radiology modalities such as; MRI, Brain DTI, CT Scans, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound (Sonography), Nuclear Imaging, Mammography and all forms of X-ray based studies (fluoroscopy, spinal motion studies, digital X-ray evaluation)
Expert Witness / Expert Testimony
- Expert witness services, for which the cornerstone is the Consultative Medical Report, which is solely based on the information proffered by the Lead Attorney on the case
- Testifying Expert Witness services: both oral videotaped and live depositions are easily scheduled
- Both ZOOM and LIVE courthouse appearances are commonly performed by Dr. Levey, who has given live testimony on ~ 20 occasions
DTI 3T Brain Imaging for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Dr. Levey will either review an outside study, or personally perform a DTI Brain MRI for the evaluation of possible intracranial injury, based on his specific brain imaging protocol; all patients are scanned on a dedicated 3T high field strength magnet. Two-dimensional, 3D and directionally color-coded brain Tractography reconstructions can be performed upon request by law firm
- Indications for 3T DTI Brain MRI- Suspected brain injury and/or dysfunction, mTBI, complicated TBI, Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) and other acquired pathological brain processes
- Dr. Levey also offers Quantitative DTI Brain Evaluation using: NeuroQuant®, LesionQuant® and General Morphometry analysis
- If desired, Brain DTI scans may include an Independent Medical Examination (IME) by Dr. Levey of the index patient
